If you want to read the parts that are about hating, being angry and whatnot, read the psalms that King David wrote about wanting God to crush his enemies. If you're into legalism and being bound by rules, read the Pentateuch. If you read the words of Jesus, you're not going to find that except for when he's bashing the religious rulers and teachers. And that is only because the religious rulers are leading the common people away from God instead of closer to Him.

I have been spending a lot of time thinking about the book and have decided on a course change. How many times will I do that, right? Well, almost every day, something happens to make me think that I need to add this or that scenario to my book. The content that I wanted to produce was increasing on an almost daily basis. Sadly, if I actually want to publish the book, I need to condense it.

Just this morning I had a breakthrough in writing my book. I have the idea but have struggled to find my target audience. In the consideration for a target audience, I have looked at different groups of people. I have looked at specific people in my life. One person that I had neglected to look at seems exactly perfect as a target audience, my wife. She is the perfect audience for multiple reasons…

Occasionally people ask me why I am writing a book. They wonder what I would have to say that isn't in the Bible. The plain and simple truth of it is that people don't read the Bible or if they do they ignore the parts that are difficult, uncomfortable, or hard to obey. People who claim to follow Christ seem to ignore almost every command that Jesus ever spoke. I believe people can change. I believe that you know you were meant for more and you just need to see the way to change. I believe that books can change people's lives. That is why I am writing this book.

Christ never faltered for words. Christ never wondered what he should say or do because he had a constant dialogue with God the father who would give him the words to say. I have to confess I don't have that constant dialogue and that the words you read are just my ideas, that they are the words in my head. They are the sum of my journey with Christ on this spinning orb that we call earth.

As an author, you spend a lot of time thinking about ideas and topics. A lot of time is spent problem solving and trying to find problems before they arise.
